High-speed Wi-Fi 6 and PoE Passthrough in outdoor areas. Outdoor areas with many simultaneous end devices require a high-performance WLAN infrastructure. Installed in weather-intensive environments such as amusement parks or stadiums. the OX-6400 in an extremely durable IP67 housing meets the high demands of a high-density Wi-Fi and offers a top Wi-Fi 6 experience. Using the Power over Ethernet Passthrough functionality. additional devices such as IP cameras can be integrated into the network directly via the access point with minimal installation effort. Dual concurrent Wi-Fi 6 with aggregated data rate of up to 3. The LANCOM OX-6400 provides clients with Wi-Fi 6 (IEEE 802. 11ax) simultaneously in the 2. 4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands. this enables transmission speeds of up to 2. 400 Mbps in 5 GHz and up to 1. PoE passthrough for flexible power supply with minimal installation effort. The LANCOM OX-6400 can be operated both via Power over Ethernet (PoE) according to IEEE 802. 3at and via PoE according to IEEE 802. When connected to a switch with PoE according to IEEE 802. the access point is also able to supply another PoE-capable device such as an IP camera via PoE Passthrough. This means that the devices can be placed completely independently of existing power outlets – minimizing the need for complex cabling in outdoor areas and saving installation costs at the same time. Integrated sector antenna and easy mounting. The LANCOM OX-6400 has an integrated dual-band sector antenna. With its wide beam angle of 70°. it supports simultaneous 4x4 MU-MIMO operation in the frequency bands 2. This makes the OX-6400 ideal for covering open spaces such as parking lots. Depending on the requirements profile. it can also be used to cover grandstands in high-density environments. to provide targeted Wi-Fi coverage in corridors and high-bay warehouses. or to ensure Wi-Fi availability in cold storage facilities. The internal antenna design enables simple device mounting. as no additional external antennas need to be attached. Secure integration of external users. Using a cloud-managed hotspot via LANCOM Management Cloud. the LANCOM OX-6400 is ideal for the provision of Wi-Fi hotspots. The user benefits from secure and user-friendly Wi-Fi access. and the hotspot provider has the security of knowing that its own network is separate from the guest network. Zero-touch deployment with the LANCOM Management Cloud. Fast and easy network integration of the access point as well as automatic configuration assignment - without manual configuration. In WLAN Controller- or LANCOM Management Cloud-based installations. the access point immediately receives the right configuration after network authentication. Professional IoT support via BLE and USB. you can easily dive into the world of the Internet-of-Things (IoT). Support for Bluetooth Low Energy (5. 0 opens up many possibilities for you to communicate with modern WLAN sensors in devices or objects and use innovative applications such as asset tracking or digital signage with Wireless ePaper. you can easily operate solutions for digital room signage. and other ePaper applications via the optionally available LANCOM Wireless ePaper USB. LANCOM security for wireless networks. With numerous integrated security features such as IEEE 802. this enterprise-class access point provides optimal security for networks. Administrators and employees alike benefit from professional security policies on the network. Maximum reliability in all weather conditions. The LANCOM OX-6400 has an highly durable IP67 metal housing. making it completely dust- and waterproof. Built-in status LEDs show you the status of the device at all times. A temperature range of -30°C to +65°C guarantees reliable use under extreme conditions. Maximum data transfer rate (2. Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS): Yes.
